Charles W. Havron

Charles William "Butch" Havron, 71 of Panama passed away at 2:40 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 15, 1942 at Hillsboro the son of Gomer Charles and Katherine "Kate" (Bremen) Havron. He was preceded in death by his parents; Daughter, Melanie Havron; Step Daughter, Janet Christian; 2 Brothers in law, Paul Spensberger Jr and Terry Chesser.

Butch was a truck driver most of his life, working for several different companies. He loved to hunt, fish and most of all spend time with his family. He was a former member of Panama VFW Post 6628 and a veteran of the Navy, serving from 1960-1970.

Survivors include: Significant other, Patricia Wallace of Panama, IL; Sons, Tim Havron (significant other, Jeanette Wilson) of Indianapolis, IN, David Havron of Litchfield, IL and Justin Havron of Staunton, IL; Step sons, Michael (wife, Trisha) Wallace of Hillsboro, IL and Joseph (wife, Mona) Wallace of Taylor Springs, IL; Daughters, Robin (husband, Bill) May of Charleston, SC and Tracy Laskach of Staunton, IL; Step daughter, Cindy Hopwood (significant other, Terry Boliard) of Donnellson, IL; 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great great grandchildren; Sisters, Mary Kay Spensberger, Henrietta (husband, Marvin) Miller and Karen Chesser all of Panama, IL; Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Panama United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Trover officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
