Sholen S. Miller

Sholen Steve Miller, 63 of Taylorville passed away at 10:40 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

He was born on January 19, 1952 at Centralia the son of Sholen and Juanita (Trout) Miller. He married Barbara E. Corrie on January 27, 1970 at Mt. Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brothers, Johnnie Leroy Miller and Ronnie Miller; Granddaughter, Devun Rohdemann; Father and Mother in law, Jesse and Barbara Corrie.

Sholen worked in bulk sales for Pepsi Beverages Company in Springfield, retiring after 37 years of service. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Taylorville. He was a graduate of Centralia High School and an avid Cardinals fan.

Survivors include: His wife, Barbara E. Miller of Taylorville, IL; Son, Steven Miller of Taylorville, IL; Daughters, Brenda (Aaron) Miller Roberts of Taylorville, IL and Joyce (Shawn) Miller O'Grady of Troy, IL; Grandchildren, Tilur Miller, Austin Miller, Sholen Miller, Haley Oller, Hannah Roberts, Adam Walton, Jade O'Grady, Brenden O'Grady and Conner O'Grady; Great Grandson, James Katcher; Sister, Oma Ruth Elling of Carlyle, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3540 Lincoln Trail Road, Taylorville, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 PM until time of service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
