Colleen Jane Dealey, 54, of Sorento, IL, passed away unexpectedly at 3:19 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Louisville, KY.

Colleen was born April 3, 1964 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of James and Ilene (Edsall) Klomp.  She was raised in Hagerstown, MD.  Colleen married Gilbert L. “Gib” Dealey, Jr. on May 20, 1995 in Peoria, IL.

She graduated valedictorian of her high school class in Hagerstown, MD, and went on to attend Johns Hopkins University and graduate from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in computer technology.  Colleen loved traveling, music, antiquing, and spending time outdoors.  She was brilliant, had unwavering faith in her God, and was a blessing to many.  Colleen was currently employed as a Process Engineer for GRP Mechanical, and was co-pastor of We Stand in the Gap church in Sorento, IL with her husband. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and many aunts and uncles.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Gib Dealey, Jr. of Sorento, IL; children, Rachel (husband, Andrew) Leetham of Panama, IL, and Evan Dealey of Sorento, IL; grandson, Bryson Leetham; sister, LuAnn Mitchell of WV; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: The family will receive guests from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home, 201 S. Main St., Sorento, IL 62086.

Memorial Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Sorento, IL with Pastor Scott Fick officiating.
