Dale J. Durbin
Dale J. Durbin, 82, of Palmer, IL, passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Taylorville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Dale was born May 29, 1937 in Palmer, IL, the son of Florence R. and Ruby P. (Skinner) Durbin. He married Rose M. Clevenger on February 9, 1958 at the First United Methodist Church of Taylorville. Dale worked on a farm, and he loved nothing more than farming and talking about farming. He also enjoyed just being outdoors, and spending his time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Dale is survived by his wife, Rose M. Durbin of Palmer, IL; son, Terry (wife, Sue) Durbin of Westville, IL; daughter, Pam (husband, Tom) Harrison of Dixon, IL; grandchildren, Amanda Spinka of Livermore, CA, Susan Lipa of Covington, IN, Laura Koehn of Cincinnati, OH, Kate Burgoni of Deforest, WI, and Rodger Durbin of Georgetown, IL; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Morrisonville Cemetery with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating.
