Sherie Lynn Durbin, 61, of Taylorville passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Sherie was born September 18, 1958 in Springfield, the daughter of James L. Miller and Laura (Rathbone) Miller Sprague.
Sherie worked for Kroger and Wal-Mart in Taylorville. She loved her family, and everyone that she knew. Sherie was a good hearted and loving person, that will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael D. Durbin; step-son, Michael J. Durbin; sister, Sheila Miller; and brothers, Mark, Brian, and Patrick Miller.
Sherie is survived by her brother, Rodney (wife, Carla) Miller, Sr. of Springfield; companion, Robbie Sparling of Springfield; step-children, Jared and Kayla Durbin of Taylorville; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation & Funeral Ceremony: The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Shafer-Perfetti & Assalley Funeral Home, 202 W. Franklin Street, Taylorville, IL 62568, with Rev. Billy Bob Howard officiating.
Interment will follow the ceremony at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
