Upon his honorable discharge, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Illinois, and then completed his Teaching Certificate at Greenville College. Bob was a lifelong farmer and teacher. No matter what the sport was, Bob was interested. He enjoyed traveling with Darla, tending to his vegetable garden, and music. Sending love to all the Coleman’s. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bob and Darla were like another set of parents to me throughout my childhood. I loved them dearly. Forever memories of all of us piling into the car with Bob making the trip to Hillsboro and back many, many times. So many dinners around the Coleman table with Lynn and I being chastised for too much giggling and Darla’s delicious meals. I love you all and will see you Friday. So very sorry.
So sorry to all the Coleman Family. Our thoughts are with you.
