Burnetta Ruth Redfearn

Burnetta Ruth Redfearn, 79 of Panama passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:09 PM at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

She was born November 22, 1932 at Panama the daughter of Arnold and Alice Ruth (Wall) McGill. She married George Leo Redfearn on March 7, 1953 at Greenville; he preceded her in death on July 17, 2004. Also preceding her in death were her parents; infant son, Steven Redfearn; Brothers, Arnold M. McGill, Burl Willman, Gerald Willman and Allen McGill; Sister, Arvada Hanus.

Burnetta was a homemaker and attended Panama United Methodist Church.

Survivors: Daughter, Diane (husband, Ken) Essex of Panama, IL; Sons, Michael Redfearn, Daniel Redfearn and George Redfearn all of Panama, IL; 2 Grandchildren, Melanie (Wells) Traver and Erica Wells; 3 Great Grandchildren, Macenzie Knox, Maressa Tarver and Maryn Tarver; Sister, Betty Malisia of Panama, IL; Brothers Robert McGill of Taylor Springs, IL, Ralph McGill of Fenton, MO, Darrell McGill of Panama, IL and John McGill of Greenville, IL; Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2 at 1:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama with Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama.
