Donald Neil Walker

Donald Neil Walker, 85, of St. Louis, MO passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:08 PM after a brief stay at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis, MO.
He was born July 25, 1926 in Decatur to Wanda M. Walker and was a devoted son. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Don was a 1944 graduate of Morrisonville High School. He also received advanced education at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and Washington University in St. Louis. He served his country in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Leslie Reddick American Legion Post 721, Morrisonville Masonic Lodge 681 and the St. Louis Chapter of Showman’s League.
He is survived by his sister, Joyce M. Laible of Lacon, IL; Cousin, N. Mack (Sandra) Prose of Pensacola, FL; Niece, Melody R. (David) White of Peoria, IL; Nephew, Scott N. (Chris) Laible of Henry, IL; 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews as well as many friends and cherished neighbors.
At Don’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in Morrisonville Cemetery. Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
