Mary Andres

Mary Josephine Andres, 88, of Hillsboro died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 at 11:57 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Panama United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama is in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 4, 1922 at Raymond, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Louella (Shadd) Steward. She married Clyde Tilden Andres on Aug. 11, 1940 at St. Charles, MO; he preceded her in death on April 18, 2010.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Gasser, Ruby Massey, Nora Seago and Doris Steward; and four brothers, August, Daniel, Ora and Donald Steward.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Panama United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Andres of Hillsboro and Patty Barrett of Walshville; one granddaughter, Kathleen (husband Rick) Barrett-Perry of Hillsboro; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Steven and Terrah Perry; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Panama United Methodist Church.
