Marcella Davis

Marcella Fern Davis, 91, of Kincaid passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 4:15am at her home.

She was born June 13, 1918 at Taylorville, the daughter of William Otto and Arilla Glenn (Howe) Allen. She married Floyd Edward Davis on November 28, 1933 at Hillsboro. He preceded her in death in 1962. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Decatur.

She is survived by her sons: William T (wife Shirley) Davis of Kincaid, Cayle E (wife Janet) Davis of Palmer, daughters: Peggy Crabbe of Rockford, Becky Davis of Savannah, MO, 30 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, 29 great great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters: Shirley Robinette and Sharon Sherman, 1 brother and several grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm at the Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville with Larry Clonch officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
