Linda Dozier

Linda C. Dozier, 72, of Morrisonville, died at 6:47 a.m. Sunday, March 14, 2010, in Taylorville Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 18, at the First United Methodist Church in Morrisonville with the Rev. Ken Dees and the Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will be at Morrisonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the church. Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dozier was born on March 9, 1938, in Taylorville, a daughter of the late Orville F. and Ethel (Entsminger) Beckmier. She married Duane Dozier on Feb. 22, 1959, in Morrisonville and he survives.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Morrisonville United Methodist Church, 50-year member of the Eastern Star, the Rosalind Chapter and a Lady Shriner.
Mrs. Dozier was an avid supporter of Morrisonville sports where she was a member of the Morrisonville Sports Boosters and the Morrisonville Community Club.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dozier is survived by a son, Mark (wife Kelli) Dozier of Morrisonville; a daughter, Sheila (husband Mike) Unser of Morrisonville; five grandchildren, Emilee Krampf of Wood River, Alicia (husband Josh) Lehman of Stonington, and Cody and Craig Unser and Clint Dozier, all of Morrisonville; two great-grandsons, Trenton and Garrett Lehman of Stonington; a brother, Lyle C. (wife Helen) Beckmier of Kincaid; a sister, Darline Nebel-Gietl of Springfield; and several nephews.
Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, United Methodist Church in Morrisonville or the Morrisonville Community Ambulance.
