Karter Witty, infant child of Justin Witty and Kaylee Horner of Kincaid, died at 6:46 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in St. John's Hospital.

Surviving are the parents; maternal grandparents, Hilary Edwards of Riverton and Brian Nabb of Springfield; paternal grandparents, George and Tina Coghlan of Kincaid and Alvin Witty of Springfield; maternal great-grandparents: William Horner of Springfield, Pamela Garretson of New Holland, Joseph Franklin (companion Lynn) of Springfield and Patricia and Leo Quandt of Springfield; paternal great-grandparents: Robert and Cecelia Rudin of Springfield, Don and Debbie Witty of Springfield, Alice Witty of Springfield, and Debbie Coghlan of Tovey; uncles: Johnny (Shelly) Rudin of Springfield, Stevie (Crystal) Anders of Kincaid, Allen Horner of Riverton and Craig Nabb of Auburn; aunts: Alexis (J.J.) Witty of Taylorville and Sydney Nabb of Riverton; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, in Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home, Taylorville, with Rev. JoAnn Dobyns officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, in the funeral home.
