Ronald Wayne Schroyer

Ronald Wayne Schroyer, 70, of Taylorville, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 10:00 P.M. at Meadow Manor Nursing Home, Taylorville. He was born April 23, 1937 in Taylorville, the son of Chester H. and Rose Maquet Schroyer. He married Dorris Jack on 9-6-1959 in Palmer, Ill. He was retired as a Shipping Clerk at Georgia Pacific, Taylorville. A Member of Davis Memorial Christian Church, Taylorville, and a 30 year member of Mound Lodge 122, Taylorville, Ill.

Surviving are his mother, Rose, of Taylorville, Wife, Dorris Schroyer, Taylorville; Son Dr. Steven (wife Kathi) Schroyer of Clarendon Hills, Ill. Grandchildren: Joshua, Taylor, Connor Schroyer, of Clarendon Hills. Brother: Roger (Linda) Schroyer, Taylorville, Sister Sharon Pierce, Taylorville. Numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville Funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Davis Memorial Christian Church, Taylorville with Dr. Lonnie and Rev. Vickie Southern officiating and with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
