Laura Mae Sprague

Laura Mae Sprague , 69, of Taylorville, passed away on 7-25-2007 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was born 6-25-1938 in Springfield, the daughter of Frederick and Laura Stubblefield Rathbone. She was a retired Homemaker and had also worked at Steak and Shake as a waitress. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville. He married Franklin D. Sprague and he preceded her in death. Survivors include: Daughter, Sherie (husband Michael) Durbin, Taylorville. Son - Rodney (wife Jennifer) Miller, Springfield. Brothers: William (Donna) Rathbone, Sherman, II. Raymond Morrow, Charlotte, N.C., Sisters: Sadie (Robert) Stevens, Springfield, Mary (Richard) Sullivan, Springfield. 20 Grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. 67 nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by children: Mark Miller, Brian Miller, Patrick Miller Sullivan and Sheila M. Miller. Brothers - Joseph Rathbone, Coy A. Morrow, James Albert Morrow, Charles Morrow. Grandson - Michael Durbin. 

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville with Father Alan Hunter officiating. 

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, Ill. Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville in charge of arrangements.
