Kenneth Dwight Donaldson

Kenneth Dwight Donaldson Sr., 83 of Greenville formerly of Sorento passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 3 :30 AM at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri. 

He was born February 7, 1925 at Fancher, IL the son of Edward and Mary (Price) Donaldson. He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Gene Donaldson; Sister, Ruby Voyles. 
Mr. Donaldson operated his own dairy distributorship and also worked as a union laborer. He was veteran of the Army serving during World War II and received a Purple Heart. His memberships include Sorento Masonic Lodge 861 and Kessinger American Legion Post 713. 

Survivors: Sons, Kenneth D. Donaldson Jr. of Bangkok, Thailand and Kevin (wife, Lucy) Donaldson of St. Charles, MO; 3 Grandchildren; Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Friends may call on Sunday, June 29 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Masonic rites will be held at 6:45 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 30 at 11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Darryl Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery at Sorento where military honors will be conducted by the Bond County Memorial VFW Post 1377. 

In memory of Kenny memorials may be made to the Sorento Assembly of God Church or the American Lung Association.
