Terry Norman Chesser, 62, of Panama passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 12:50 PM at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born November 29, 1943 in Hillsboro the son of Clyde and Beulah (Hart) Chesser. He married Karen Fay Havron on December 5, 1962 in the Panama United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents.
Mr. Chesser was a Carpenter’s Superintendent for Wuellner Construction Company of Godfrey. He was a member of the Panama United Methodist Church, Carpenters Local 725 in Litchfield, graduate of Lincoln Land Community College and coached the Panama Pirates Little League Baseball Team for several years.
Survivors: Wife, Karen F. Chesser of Panama, IL; Sons, Greg Chesser and Douglas (wife, Kimberly) Chesser both of Panama, IL; 5 Grandchildren, Andrea, Benjamin, Alexis, Whitney and Hannah Chesser; 1 Great Grandson, Dawson Michael Guinn; Brothers, Phillip (wife, Margaret) Chesser, Roger (wife, Marge) Chesser, Clyde Jr. (wife, Jane) Chesser and Richard Chesser all of Hillsboro, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 28 form 4:00-7:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 29 at 2:00 PM at the Panama United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Trover officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Panama.
