Lola Vemeil Duncan, 92, of Sorento passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11:39 PM at Heritage Manor in Litchfield.
She was born July 10, 1914 in Long Pine, Nebraska the daughter of Homer and Lottie (Cearlock) Garland. Her first marriage was to Howard Pritchett; he preceded her in death. She then married Shelby Duncan; he also preceded her in death as did her parents, 2 brothers, Herbert and Denver Garland; 1 sister, Etta Yurecko.
Mrs. Duncan was a homemaker and a member of Fem Chapter 754 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors: Daughter, Peggy (husband, Jack) Cruthis of Sorento, IL; Step Sons, Drew (wife, Judy) Duncan of Sorento, IL and William “Bud” (wife, Linda) Duncan of Greenville, IL; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends may call from noon-1:00 PM Tuesday, October 17 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17 at 1 :00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Hahs officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.
In memory of Lola V. Duncan memorials may be made to Heritage Manor of Litchfield.
