Rollie Don-Louis Zumwalt, Sr.

Rollie Don Louis Zumwalt, Sr., 76, of Sorento, died Wed., Apr. 12, 2006 at 8 p.m. in his home. He was born on May 28, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Arthur & Leota (Davis) Zumwalt. He was a professional truck driver for Pacific International Express. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #2910, Litchfield Moose Lodge #1634 & AARP. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting & rebuilding lawnmowers. He married Irene Doty on June 11, 1949 in St. Louis, MO. She died in 1984. He later married Carina D. Lobo on April 30, 1991 in Cebu, Philippines. She survives. He is also survived by:

Three sons, Rollie Don (Debra) Zumwalt, Jr. of Murray, KY; Robert (Renee) Zumwalt of Mayfield, KY; David (Leslie) Zumwalt of St. Louis, MO 1 daughter, Rose Clark of Belleville; 1 step-daughter, Anabelle Gabas of Joilet; 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Wesley Zumwalt, sister, Ada Crowder, grandson, David Zumwalt, & great-grandson, Andrew Williams.

Funeral services will be held Mon., Apr. 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Burial of cremains will be in Marcus Memorial Park Cemetery in Fredericktown, MO, at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until service time in Perfetti Funeral Home.
