Morrisonville–Velma McWard 98, died at 1:00 AM, August 3, 2000 at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL.

Visitation will be Saturday at 10:00 AM with services at 11:00 at Moffit Funeral Home Morrisonville. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Memorials should be maid to First Presbyterian Church-Morrisonville or donors choice.

Mrs. McWard was born June 11, 1902 in Morrisonville, IL. The daughter of Joseph and Maria Theresa Schmeh Klingler. She married Clarence McWard October 21, 1921.

Surviving are sons, Donald C, Owaneco, Lyle, Warrensburg and Larry of Macomb. Daughters Juanita Harvey, Decatur, Irma Bryan Taylorville and Betty Jo Ward, Webster Grove, MO. She has 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand child.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Harold, 1 brother and 5 sisters.
