Lena Irene Kerns, 94, of Milan, Tennessee, formerly of Taylorville, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, in Milan, TN.
She was born March 16, 1912, in Mt. Olive, the daughter of Manson and Anna (Ritter) Williams. She married Albert Nelson Kerns. She was an inspector for a magnet company.
Surviving are her son, Allen (wife Brenda) Kerns of Milan, TN; three grandchildren; one step-grandson; six great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Williams of Paris, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers; Harold, Floyd and Roger; and sister, Mildred Locke.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, in Shafer Funeral Home, with Dr. Lonnie Southern and Rev. Vicki Southern officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery, Palmer.
Visitation held Saturday, December 30, in the funeral home.
