Leonard "Lenny" Scott Wright

Leonard (Lenny) Scott Wright, 21, of Granite City, Illinois passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 8:10 AM in Erin, Tennessee due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

He was born July 15, 1985 in Granite City, IL the son of Gordon Leonard and Kari Lynn (Sykes) Wright Ill. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather.

Lenny was a member of the Third Baptist Church in Granite City. He was employed by Shepherdsfield Professional Window Washing Company.

Survivors: Fiance, Karie B. Schaefer of New Bloomfield, MO; Mother and stepfather, Kari (Sykes) and Randy Ulrich of Granite City, IL; Sister, Kara Wright of Granite City, IL; Half sisters, Kayla and Randi Kai Ulrich both of Granite City, IL; Father and stepmother, Gordon Leonard III and Cathy Wright of St. Clair, MO; Half brothers, Bobby, Mike and Jimmy Wright all of St. Clair, MO; Maternal grandfather, Harlan Scott Sykes of Erin, TN; Paternal grandmother, Gloria J. Wright of Belleville, IL.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 16 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Third Baptist Church in Granite City. Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 17 at 1:00 PM at the Third Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Powell officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Panama at a later date.

In memory of Lenny Wright memorials may be made to the family for the purchase of a Granite City High School brick or funeral expenses. Memorial donations will be accepted at the Third Baptist Church.
