Mardell worked for Shirley and I for many years at Shaw furniture. Not only was she a wonderful employee but she became a good friend.
Customers loved mardell because they could tell she was truly interested in them and helping them.
Through a lot adversity she always maintained a positive fun attitude and treated us like family as we did her.
Shell be missed by family and friends.
Thank you for all the nice memories of our years of friendship. From the class of THS 1952 thru all our adult years many times our lives crossed. It was always a pleasure for her to wait on me at the furniture store, or wherever she was so diligent. Her John was such a special student in our Special Ed Class while I was a secretary at South School. God bless her family as they go forward knowing that she has left a wonderful legacy. Your prettiness will never be forgotten. Rossie Robison Showalter.
I got to know Mardell when she would bring Max into Animal Kingdom Vet Clinic. What a treat the both were to see walk in. It was truly an honor to have meet her, she was so kind and just the sweetest person. She will be dearly missed. So sorry for your loss.
