Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Light a CandleAunt Nancy was an important part of my life, and some of my favorite childhood memories included visiting her and Uncle Glenn in Pana, playing with Rambo, or looking at pictures and movies of many trips to Colorado. She also introduced me to many authors whose work I’d have easily overlooked.

When I got married and had a family she was so warm to my wife and children. Though we had few opportunities to see one another, I always knew she kept on top of what we were doing, and cared about our family, our work, and our lives.

    We will miss her greatly,

    Jay, Melissa, Emma, and Ian

    I’ll miss her, very much.

  2. Light a CandleMy sincere condolences to Glenn, husband of Nancy, and all family members. Nancy, Rhoda, Carol, and Judy were seen at Cubs Spring training games for many years. We were the fearsome foursome always on the lookout for autographs of our favorite players. Nancy was always in for a good time. One of our best memories is when we attended the HOF induction of Ryne Sandberg. Oh, what a thrill. God’s Blessing to all of the family

  3. Light a CandleSo sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. Nancy & Glenn were wonderful neighbors to my mom & dad. We can’t thank them enough for the love and care they gave them. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  4. Light a CandleNancy was a joy to know. I echo what my son, Jay said. Nancy & Glenn together were fun to be with & Nancy by herself was engaging & confidential. I felt as if we were childhood friends & that did not change after I was no longer her sister-in-law.
My deepest sympathy to Glenn as he has been devoted to caring for Nancy during her illness.

  5. Light a CandleSad to hear of Nancy’s passing. Our sympathy to Glenn and family. Nancy and Glenn were such kind and caring next door neighbors to my parents. Their acts of kindness made the world a better place. Rest in peace.
