Rosie Elizabeth Carver, 79, of Panama, Illinois, passed away on November 14, 2025, at the Hillsboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Rosie was born August 23, 1946, in East St. Louis, Illinois the daughter of Romaden T. and Beulah E. (Lundy) Carver.
She worked for Fayco in Hillsboro, Illinois for many years. She loved spending time with family and going to gatherings such as parades, circuses, fairs and homecomings.
In her pastime, she enjoyed fishing, crocheting, taking care of her beloved cats, playing games on her phone and handheld games, and best of all, going shopping every weekend. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, enjoyed watching all the old tv shows and movies, going to church and her favorite Psalm was the Lord’s Prayer.
Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Janice Marie Carver; Brothers, Billy, Rick, and Bob Carver.
Surviving Rosie are her siblings, Mike Carver of Litchfield, Illinois and Lisa (Tim) Baugh of Staunton, Illinois; niece, Heather Carver and nephew, William Hayes, both of Staunton; and great niece, McKenzee Hayes of Bunker Hill.
Visitation: 10:00 – 11:00 am, Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Perfetti- Assalley Funeral Home, at 117 Walnut St., Panama, IL 62077.
Funeral: following the visitation.
Burial: following the funeral at Union Cemetery, Panama.
Memorials may be gifted to the family during the visitation and funeral or mailed to the Assalley Funeral Home, 118 E. College Ave., Greenville, IL 62246.
The family has entrusted Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Sorento with the ceremony.
