Trudy L. (Cunningham) Finley, 59, of Smithboro, Illinois, passed away on June 3, 2025, at her home.
Trudy was born June 27, 1965, in Greenville, IL, the daughter of Leeo Paul and Marie Ethel (Wilson) Cunningham.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her stepdad, Frank Peppers, and brothers, Mark Swofford and John Thomas.
Surviving Trudy are her sons, Robert Coates of Cuba, Missouri and Brandon Coates of Smithboro, Illinois, 5 grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Jane Koonce and Julie Cunningham, both of Greenville, Illinois, and Forrest ‘Pee Wee’ Peppers of Kansas.
The family will plan a celebration of life gathering at a later date.
The family asks that donations, in memory of Trudy, be given in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts to the Bond County Health Department – Mental Health & Addiction Center.
Memorial contributions may be mailed to the Bond County Health Department – Mental Health & Addiction Center, 1520 S. 4th St., Greenville, IL 62246.
