Alex L. Bone, 32, of Sorento, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday at his home, June 24, 2026, surrounded by his family after bravely battling cancer.

Alex was born February 18, 1994, in Litchfield, Illinois, the son of Terry Joe and Cheryl Ann (Oary) Bone.

Alex was a beloved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Alex was a young man with a wild heart and free spirit. He loved to make people laugh and crack all the dad jokes.

Alex was a 2012 graduate of Greenville High school; he then went on to be a Laborer. In 2018 Alex became a father to his pride and joy, Ava. When Alex was not working to provide for his little girl, he loved to spend his time with her. Some of the things they enjoyed together were reading, fishing, going to the movies, and playing ball in the yard. Alex was a proud dad. He enjoyed showing up for his daughter and seeing her play her heart out on the field.

Not only was Alex a proud dad, but he was also a proud uncle. Alex cherished each one of his nieces and nephews. He would root them on like they were his own. Alex will be missed by all the lives he has touched.
