Alfred George Swinger

Alfred George Swinger, 67, of Springfield passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 at 7:43 AM at his home.

He was born July 16, 1940 in Taylorville the son of the late George and Idabelle (Roberts) Swinger.

Alfred worked as an Animal Technician for the SIU School of Medicine for more than 25 years. He was a graduate of Taylorville High School and a member of the Morrisonville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Ronald (Joann) Swinger of Weldon, IL and Norman (Martha) Swinger of Edinburg, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday, October 31 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 PM at Morrisonville Cemetery with the Pastor Raymond Radae officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery.

Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
