Alice J. German

Alice J. German, 74 of Springfield passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10:07 AM at her home. 

She was born June 17, 1933 on the family farm in rural Morrisonville the daughter of the late Everett Paul and Edith (Caulk) Beaty. Alice was preceded in death by 1 brother, Donald Beaty. 

Before her retirement, Alice worked for the State of Illinois, Department of Revenue for 30 years. She was affiliated with the Morrisonville United Methodist Church. 

Survivors: Sons, Michael German and Kevin (Amy) German both of Springfield, IL; Daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Snow of Springfield, IL; 3 Grandsons; 4 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Jim Beaty of Morrisonville, IL; Sisters, Delores McKinney and Ruth Beaty both of Springfield, IL, Carol Lyerla and Judie Beaty both of Taylorville, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26 from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 AM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery. 

In memory of Alice German memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. 

Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
