Aloysius "Al" Durbin Jr., 64 of Lohman, Missouri formerly of Morrisonville passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. 

He was born September 7, 1944 in Morrisonville the son of Aloysius Sr. and Mary Gladys (Norris) Durbin. Al married Velma Minard on June 6, 1987 at Moberly, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. 

Al was a railroad mechanic and owned and operated a welding and machine shop. He was a faithful and active member of the Russellville United Methodist Church in Russellville, Missouri where he served as usher. 

Survivors: Wife, Velma Durbin of Russellville, MO; One son, Robert Baughman of Marshall, MO; Two daughters, Nancy (Phillip) Burkhart of Versailles, MO and Carolyn (Scott) Hall of California, MO; Two brothers, Eugene (Judy) Durbin and Russell (Pat) Durbin both of Taylorville, IL; Two sisters, Susan (Ray) Gensler of Taylorville, IL and Eloise (Howard) Davis of Kincaid, IL; Five grandchildren, Katie, Hallie and Sydnie Hall and Angel and Ty Burkhart; Several nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call on Friday, October 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Moffitt­Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18 at 11:00 AM at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral with the Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Morrisonville. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Russellville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
