Angela Lynn Harris, 51, of Taylorville, passed away on Saturday February 3, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

Angela was born in Taylorville on June 6, 1972, a daughter of Eddie and Brenda (Titran) Harris.  She married Gary Dain, they later divorced.

She is survived by one son, Jesse Dain of Taylorville, one grandson Jace Lee Dain of Taylorville. Her mother Brenda of Taylorville, companion, Eldon “Butch” Shelton of Taylorville.  Two brothers David (Tammy) Harris of Taylorville, Phillip Windell of Taylorville, four sisters; Dayna (David) Windell-Malloy of Stillwater, OK., Jennifer Harris of Rochester, Jaclyn Harris of Charleston and Jillian Schull of Divernon and her fur baby Toby Harris Shelton. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Eddie Harris Jr.

Angela loved being “Mimi” to her grandson, she loved riding motorcycles, camping, and reading books. She loved working at Taylorville Memorial Hospital as a Patient Access Associate. She graduated from Taylorville High School in 1990.

Visitation and Funeral: the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Shafer, Perfetti & Assalley Funeral Home 202 W. Franklin St., Taylorville. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.
