Arnold L. Pennock

Arnold Lee Pennock, 68 of Palmer passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:29 PM at his home.

He was born on April 5, 1946 at Alton the son of Robert and Marjorie (Lumley) Pennock. Arnold was raised by his grandparents near Kampsville in Pike County, in later years he moved to Raymond. He married Donna Diane Moomey on April 24, 1982 at Raymond and they moved to Palmer where he was a friend to everyone who knew him.

Arnold was a Supervisor at Nudo Products in Springfield, retiring in November of 2013. He was a loving husband, father and step father to all his children and enjoyed all of his grandchildren to the fullest. He loved his garden, yard and flowers and his greatest talent for woodworking known to all.

Survivors include: His wife, Donna D. Pennock of Palmer, IL; Sons, Robert Pennock (companion, Tracy) of Raymond, IL and Adrian "Bubba" Pennock of Morrisonville, IL; Step son, Kevin (Susan) Moomey of Morrisonville, IL; Step daughters, Kim Moomey of Divernon, IL and Kris (Paul) Jones of Litchfield, IL; 12 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Debbie (Jerry) Maul of Jacksonville, IL; Step father, Harold (June) Brandenberg of Jacksonville, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of Arnold's life will be held at a later date.

Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
