Betty Jean Overbaugh

Betty J. Overbaugh, 71 of Hillsboro passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 9:10 PM at Montgomery Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.

She was born on March 15, 1941 at Panama the daughter of the late Francis "Hap" and Violet Theresa (Boskamp) Overbaugh.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Overbaugh and her lifelong partner Carol Sue Powell.

Betty retired from Echlin Brake Parts Company in Litchfield after may years of service.  She had also been employed at Dollar General in Hillsboro.

Survivors include: Sister, Terry (husband, Frank) Loskot of Hillsboro, IL; Special daughter, Tammy Powell Petroski of Witt, IL; Several Nieces and nephews including, Theresa (Geoff) Reeves of Hillsboro, IL, Christopher Loskot of Edwardsville, IL, SSGT Dennis (Christina) Loskot of Okinawa, Japan and Scott (Megan) Earnest of Taylor Springs, IL.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 (her birthday) at 11:00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama with Frank Loskot officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.  Family will greet friends from 10'00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
