Betty Lou White

Betty Lou White of Sorento, IL formerly of St. Louis, MO passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 at 6:30 AM in Sorento. 

She was born August 3, 1932 in St. Louis the daughter of Albert L. and Alta Mae (Crowell) Johnson. She married James J. White Jr.; they later divorced. Preceding her in death were her parents, Brothers, Fred, Harry and Danny Johnson; Sister, Carolyn Finklang. 

Betty worked as a meat salesperson for Mayrose retiring on May 31, 1993. 

Survivors include: Daughter, Linda (Ron) Allen of Sorento, IL; 2 Grandchildren, Adam (Kelly) Hahs of Panama, IL and Rebecka Reed and Louis of Sorento, IL; Brother, Leon Johnson of Pontoon Beach, IL; Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 24 from 10:30-11 :00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in St. Louis. Committal services will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at 11 :00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with Betty's grandson the Rev. Adam Hahs officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. 

In memory of Betty memorials may be made to the Bond County Humane Society or Bond County Hospice.
