Betty Rodden

Betty Alice Rodden, 98 of Taylorville passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at 9:45 AM at Meadow Manor. 

She was born August 16, 1913 at Taylorville the daughter of William and Nellie (Ritter) Green. She married Thomas L. Rodden on June 24, 1933 at Taylorville; he preceded her in death along with her parents; Children Mary and Joseph Rodden; Brothers, Edgar and Bob Green; Son-in-law, Bob Morgan. 

Betty was an operator at Illinois Consolidated Telephone Company before her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors: Sons, Joseph Rodden (wife, Judy) of Taylorville, IL and Jim Rodden(wife, Debbie) of Springfield, IL; Daughters, Kathy Morgan of Taylorville, IL and Judy Cotter (husband, Randall) of Hillview, IL; Grandchildren, Jimmy Rodden, Theresa Basso, Beth Rodden, Thomas Rodden, Paul Cumby, Denise Nicol, Bobby Morgan, Matt Cotter, Cynthia Sams, Vikki Rodden and Timothy Rodden; Several great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; Brother, William Green of Oxford, FL; Several nieces and nephews.
