Bobby W. Prose, 78, of Morrisonville passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 8:07 PM at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.

He was born November 30, 1925 in rural Morrisonville the son of Harry and Marie (Cress) Prose. He married Joyce Heidmann on March 22, 1997 at Morrisonville First Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; 2 brothers, Loren and Wayne Prose; 1 daughter, Jackie Sloper; 1 Step Daughter and 1 Step Son.

Mr. Prose worked as a Teamster. He was a member of Morrisonville First Baptist Church, PMRA, Leslie Reddick American Legion Post 721 and was a veteran of the Navy serving during World War II.

Survivors: Wife, Joyce Prose of Morrisonville, IL; Sons, Wayne Sr. (Wife, Peggy) Prose of Taylorville, IL, Roy (wife, Janet) Prose of Morrisonville, IL and Randy (companion, Candy) Prose of Morrisonville, IL; Step Sons, Edward ( companion, Sharon) Salefske of West Bend, WI, Randolph (wife, LeAnn) Salefske of Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV and Ronald (wife, Sally) Salefske of Blair, OK; Step Daughter, Kathy (husband, Len) Berg of Milwaukee, WI; Step Daughter In Law, Joan Salefske of Taylorville, IL; 5 Grandchildren; 8 Step Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Lester (wife, Joann) Prose of Litchfield, IL; Several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday, November 15 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home
in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 11 :00 AM at Moffitt­Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville, with Rev. Chad Foster officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery. Leslie Reddick American Legion Post 721 will conduct military honors at the grave.

Pallbearers: Wayne Prose Jr., Curt Robinson, Jacob Prose, Joshua Prose, Larry Prose and Wayne Rosenthal.
