Bonnie Jackson

Bonnie Louise Jackson, 76, of Pana, formerly of Langleyville, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at 4:10 p.m. at Heritage Manor in Pana.

She was born May 24, 1935, at Kincaid, the daughter of Roy and Madge Cantral Meacham. She married Bert Jackson on March 21, 1953 at Kincaid; he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhonda Lash; two brothers; and two sisters.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her love for her family echoed through the many cookouts, shopping trips and her Sunday family dinners. She enjoyed playing bingo and solving crossword puzzles. She was an avid Cardinal fan and loved listening to music. Throughout the years she touched many, her memory will live through family and friends. She always took time to spend nights with her family playing games, cards and giggling. She will always be loved, missed and never forgotten.

Survivors are her son, Alan (wife, Susan) Jackson of Taylorville, IL; daughters, Tammy (husband, Al) Crist of Taylorville, IL and Deb (husband, Myles) Krohe of Beardstown, IL; six grandchildren, Blake Jackson, Josh Crist, Melissa Crist, Crystal Womack, Kyle Cook and Kayle Masters; six great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Meacham of Carthridge, MS; sisters: Hazel Bryant of Oswego, IL and Mackie (husband, Robert) Bryant of Virden, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Blomquist officiating. Burial will follow at Fraley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19 form 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home.
