Brenda L. Wood

Brenda L. Wood, age 68, of Greenville passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11 AM at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Young Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bond County Hospice.

Brenda was born November 10, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to John and Barbara (Puryear) Davis. She married Hubert Wood on September 18, 1986 in House Springs, MO. He died April 20, 2011. She is survived by her children Paula Dillow and her husband Brian of Highland, IL, Kristopher Knight of Troy, IL, Rochelle Varner and her husband Frank of Okawville, IL, Kenneth Knight and his wife Mylene of Pocahontas, IL, and Ryan Knight of Greenville, IL, along with her step-children Hubert Wood, Jr and his wife Amy of Hampton, Virginia, Robert Wood and his wife Angelique of Greenville, IL, and Jennifer Haukap and her husband Ryan of Breese, IL. She is also survived by a brother Robert Davis of House Springs, MO, her grandchildren Jessica Dillow, Danielle Knight, Andrea Suministrado and her husband Levi, C.J. Hebert, Austin Knight, Madison Knight, and Christian Knight, her step-grandchildren Megan Wood, Brendan Wood, Jackson Wood, William Rommerskirchen, Valerie Rommerskirchen, and Elizabeth Rommerskirchen, her great grandchildren Alexandrea Hoffstot, Aiden Dillow and Liam Suministrado, and her step great grandchildren, Parker Wood, Landyn Wood, Karleigh Wood, Bailey Wood and Karson Cormier. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Connie Prince.

Brenda grew up in Overland, MO and moved to Greenville in 1980. She was self employed.
