Brenda Sue Fleigle

Brenda Sue (Cole) Fleigle, also known to many as “Fin”, 61, of Morrisonville, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Brenda was born September 9, 1958 in Taylorville, the daughter of Ron and Jean (Beaty) Cole. She married Francis Fleigle on September 24, 1976 in Morrisonville. Brenda retired after 35 years of service with the State of Illinois Retirement System. She was a member of the St. Maurice Parish. Brenda enjoyed sitting outside and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons. She loved afternoon car rides around town with her dog Teddy, and collecting/reading the daily area newspapers.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Alberta Cole, and Wayne and Marcella Beaty; and father-in-law, William “Bill” Fleigle.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Francis Fleigle of Morrisonville; parents, Ron and Jean Cole of Morrisonville; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Fleigle of Morrisonville; children, Jayne (husband, Steve) Bethard and Matthew Fleigle, both of Morrisonville; grandsons, Cole Bethard, Caden Bethard, and Carsen Bethard, all of Morrisonville; sisters, Tracy Held of Morrisonville, and Lisa McKinnie of Taylorville; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life and private family burial will be held at a later date.
