Catherine M. Gagne, 62, of Taylorville and Fair Oaks Ranch, TX. died on Friday, February 20, 2009 in Southwest Methodist Hospital E.R., San Antonio, TX. She was born on January 30, 1947 in Lewiston, ME.

Daughter to Francis and Margaret (Salter) Crowley. She married James M. Gagne on August 16, 1969 in Lewiston, ME. She has been the Co-Owner and Corporate Officer of Gagne Distributing Company, Taylorville, IL.

She is survived by her husband; Daughters: Laurie Gagne of San Antonio, TX. and Julie Gagne of Glen Carbon, IL.; Mother-In-Law: Eva May Gagne of Taylorville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael Gagne, her sister Sheila Brent, and her father-in-law Stephen Gagne.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 108 W. Adams, Taylorville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorials be made in her honor to any of the following: St. Mary's School Library, 422 S. Washington, Taylorville, Il. 62568 or Taylorville Memorial Hospital Capital Campaign Fund, 201 E.
