Carolyn Sue Stephens

CAROLYN SUE STEPHENS, 59, of Taylorville, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2007 at her residence. Born July 21, 1947 in Pana, Ill, the daughter of John and Edna Bennett Humes. She was a Homemaker. She was married to Larry Stephens, who preceded her in death. She is survived by Daughters: Cindy Smith, Renee Loreth ( partner Randy Myers) and Kelly (husband Joshua)Bruner of Taylorville. Sons: Butch (wife Sue) Smith, Mark Smith, William Stephens of Taylorville. Step sons: Donnie (Laurie) Stephens of Camarillo, CA and Gary (Mandy) Stephens of Tahlequah, OK. Sisters: Bonnie (Joe) Kalka of Taylorville and Elsie (Bill) Mann of Albion, Ill. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Stephens, daughter Angie Kuhns, Brothers Howard Humes, Johnny Humes, and Sisters: Ruby Humes, Betty Reed and Marilyn Long. 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville. 

Funeral Service will on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 10:00 A.M at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Randy Myers officiating. 
Burial will be at Fraley Cemetery, Taylorville.
