Carrie Dolores Turner, 78, of Sorento, IL passed away Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 7:25 A.M. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

She was born May 7, 1927 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Floyd L. and Nora Blanche (Carlton) Bone. She married Kenneth E. Turner in 1966 at Greenville, IL; he preceded her in death on July 4, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Robert L. Bone Sr.

Mrs. Turner worked at Basler Electric Company in Highland as a group leader. She was a member of the Sorento Baptist Church and the Sorento American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors: Sons, David (wife, Joyce) Thacker, Floyd (companion, Virginia) Thacker and Dennis (wife, Donna) Thacker all of Sorento, IL; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; Brother, Frank (wife, Sandra) Bone; Sisters, Ruby Miller of Gillespie, IL, Dorothy Lyttaker of Rushville, IL and Ermilie (husband, Wayne) Bondurant of Vandalia, IL; Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7 at 11:00 A.M. at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento, with Rev. Adam Hahs officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.

In memory of Mrs. Turner memorials may be made to the County Line Family Church. Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
