Charles Harding Miles, age 89, passed away at his home Saturday, January 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Miles, his daughters Marsha (Shawn) Etzkorn and Charnell Freeman, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Jane Jahnsen. He married Marilyn Elam on August 28, 1955 in Worburn, IL. He grew up in Mills Township and graduated from Greenville High School. After his marriage he and his wife moved to Mulberry Grove Twp. In 1956 he went towork at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland. In the mid 1960's he went to work at Greenville Regional Hospital retireing in 1988 as maintenance engineer. He also farmed during his life, He was a deacon at The Woburn Baptist Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Carmi Baptist Childrens Home or the charity of the donor's choice.
