Clyde T. Andres, 97, of Hillsboro died April 18, 2010, at 4 a.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 22, from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. at Panama United Methodist Church. Pastor Dave Trover will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama. Perfetti Funeral Home at Panama is in charge of arrangements.

Born March 31, 1913, at Springfield, MO, he was a son of the late Paul and Edith (Kinder) Andres. He married Mary Josephine Steward Aug. 11, 1940, at St. Charles, MO. She survives him at Hillsboro.

Mr. Andres was a farmer and ran his own sawmill for many years. Before he retired he was employed at the Montgomery County Highway Garage. He was a graduate of Butler High School, past president of Montgomery County Farm Bureau, and a member of Panama United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Andres of Hillsboro, and Patty Barrett of Walshville; granddaughter, Kathleen (husband Rick) Barrett-Perry of Hillsboro; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Steven and Terrah Perry; a sister, Pauline Voyles of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were two sisters, Ruth Elliott and Arlene Bandy-Reed; and two brothers, Dale Andres and Carl Wayne Andres.

Memorials are suggested to Panama United Methodist Church.
