Connie and Glyn Stewart

Connie Sue Phelps Bingham Stewart, 90, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born January 30, 1935, in Morrisonville, Illinois, to Paul Carter Phelps and Bandetta “Bea” Waterman Phelps Lading. Glyn C. Stewart, Jr., formerly of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, died October 17, 2015, in Smyrna, Georgia. He was born in Monmouth, Illinois on March 13, 1929, to Glyn C. and Neta Evelyn (Foreman) Stewart, Sr.

A combined graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Morrisonville Cemetery.  Veteran’s honors and Masonic Rites will be offered followed by a committal service officiated by Pastor Jim Ferrill.  Assalley Funeral Home, Morrisonville, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.
