Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I did not know Dale personally, but I know his son Dan and through his (Dan’s) stories It’s as if I did know Dale. Dale raised a very wonderful caring son in Dan, and I am proud to call him my nephew. I wish I could be there to listen as you remember your dad, but rest assured my thoughts and prayers are with you. As a preacher friend of mine told me one day right after my father died, “He will be closer to you now than in the past.” In days to come your memories will be of days on the farm and times spent together rather than your dad being in a care facility. Sometimes I feel as if my dad is sitting beside me on that planter as we discuss planting corn. Enjoy the memories and allow God to hold you in His hands of love and mercy. God Bless.

  2. To Schmedeke family: So sorry to hear of Dale’s passing. Those we love do not go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but very near. So loved, so missed, and very dear.

  3. Light a CandleI’m deeply sorry for your loss. His legacy lives on in the hard work and dedication the Schmedeke family puts into the farm. I enjoy sharing the same farm days with Ada that were shared with me at her age.

  4. Light a CandleOur sympathy goes out to our uncle Dale’s family and may uncle Dale rest in peace until me meet again.
