David Lee Painter

David Lee Painter Jr., 24, of Livingston, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at 9:30 p.m. at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.

Friends may call Thursday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Burial will follow at Noffsinger Cemetery in Smithboro.

Born April 9, 1986, at Granite City, he was the son of David Lee and Barbara Jean (Scott) Painter Sr. He graduated from William M. Bedell ARC School at Wood River.

Survivors include his parents of Livingston; two sisters, Alex Painter of Livingston, and Alicia Painter of Benld; grandparents, Floyd and Virginia, Roy Scott, and Barbara J. Painter; nephew, Antonio Westbrook; niece, Summer Westbrook; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Painter.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
