Kim,
I am so sorry to hear the news of your Mother passing away. My you hold onto the memories of her in your heart forever. Time has certainly flown by since our days growing up and going to school together in Hillsboro. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and God Bless You!
I’m so sorry for your loss. Any time I would think of Delores her peaceful smile would be the first thing to come to mind. I’ll always remember her smile.
I’ve lived in Arizona for 57 years and have visited ‘back home’ near every year since leaving Bond County. In recent years, prior to 2019, I paid visits to cousins Delores ‘Dee’ (Parks) Payne and Kerry ‘Keb’ Griffiths, residents of Montgomery County Rehab. Their enthusiasm and delight that I stopped by to say ‘Hi’ was so heartwarming that I always looked forward to seeing them. We revisited thoughts of times past, the ‘good ol’ days’. Often I was amazed when they reached into brain cobwebs and pulled up memories of better days. It was remarkable as to what they remembered, family gatherings, ‘once upon a time incidents,’ we shared, a long time ago. Rest in peace cousin Dee – GOD BLESS!
Thank you Keith. She always told me when you visited with her. She enjoyed your visits so much!!! ❤
