Dennis E. Steele, 66 of Morrisonville passed away at 12:33 AM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

He was born on February 3, 1949 at Taylorville the son of Bud and Eloise Steele. He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Dennis was employed for many years as a jeweler at several area jewelry stores. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Morrisonville and a graduate of Morrisonville High School.

Survivors: Uncle, Ronald (wife, Nancy) Thunhorst of Tucson, AZ; Aunt, Ruth Thunhorst of Morrisonville, IL; Several cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating. Inurnment will follow at Morrisonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from Noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Morrisonville Community Ambulance.
