  6. So sorry for your loss.  Dolores was a neighbor, friend, classmate of mine.  I remember her playing the accordion and attending North School and Teutopolis High School together.  May you find peace and comfort in the coming days.

  7. My deepest sympathies to the family. Dolores was a precious aunt and a loving mom to all of her kids and grandkids. I will always remember how very special her get-togethers were. She knew how to throw a party!  Confirmation get-togethers for her kids were always great. I also remember the chocolate crosses she would place on the confirmation cakes.

Dolores was a very special person. Very strong, and yet, very full of love and life!  I will always think of her fondly and wish I could have been there for the funeral.

Blessings and condolences to you all!

    Love, Cathy Wendte (niece)

  8. Donald, Pat and family.  I live in Oregon now, but I get the newspaper and was so sorry to read that your wonderful Mom had passed.  I didn’t recognize her last name but I knew her face immediately. I have so many fond memories of your Mom when we would get together to play as children. She and my Mom were in the same Home Extension group, and of course church activities. I’ll never forget her sparkling eyes, sweet smile and gentle ways.  What a large family you have!  I watched the the video and your Mom certainly had a full life.  My sympathies for your loss.
