Donald D. Wells

Donald D. Wells, 84 of Taylorville formerly of Morrisonville passed away at 9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Taylorville Care Center.

He was born on November 2, 1930 at Morrisonville the son of Reasoner and Lela (Cook) Wells. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Bessie Noyes; Brothers, James Keith Wells, John Wayne Wells, Lawrence Dale Wells, Truman Wells, William "Baldy" Wells and Thomas Wells; Nephew, William "Bill" Wells.

Donald worked most of his life as a laborer on off shore oil rigs. He attended Morrisonville schools and was of the Methodist faith. He supported many charities, specially St. Jude Children's Hospital.

He was survived by: Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; Companion, Ellen Little of Taylorville, IL.

Per Donald's wishes no services will be held.

Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
